Glenwood Springs Transportation

Residents and visitors to the City of Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley are lucky to have great transit service available to those wishing to use alternative transportation.

Local transit service is provided by Ride Glenwood Springs from 7:00AM-7:00PM Monday through Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM Saturdays and 9:00AM-4:00PM on Sundays. Stops are conveniently located throughout town, near neighborhoods, downtown, employment and shopping centers and recreation attractions.

Regional transit service is provided by the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority. Transit service is available from Rifle to Aspen several times a day and from Glenwood to Aspen every hour. There are park and rides conveniently located from Rifle to Aspen to make your commute easier.

For those who use the bus to commute to work, the City of Glenwood Springs provides a Guaranteed Ride Home. Guaranteed Ride Home is a free benefit to get you home in case of an unplanned event.

Riding the bus can save you money if you use it for your daily commute. Compare the cost riding the bus to driving alone.
